Elkhart Lake Road America AMA Races May 31 -June 2 Featuring Aerostar Global Race Team!!!!!

SUBWAY SuperBike Doubleheader - GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing

May 31-2

The fast and flowing 4.05-mile natural road course at Road America will serve as the theater of war for GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing in early June. One of the most exciting and challenging tracks on the AMA calendar, this annual two-wheel celebration draws huge crowds for a weekend full of doubleheaders in four GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing classes. Fan activities include on-site camping, front-straight drag racing demo, and open karting.

 

Aerostar Global Logistics joined  Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson this year to be apart of there AMA XR1200 Race Team. With team riders; Brice Cooper, Nick Hansen, Ben Carlson, and Steve Rapp we should be in for a good and exciting season. We started of at Dayton, FL with a great kick off to the year and we are very excited to see how are riders perform at Road America. 1956 BSA

 

1956 BSA Restored Bike that we picked up for a customer in Cali and sent to him here in Chicago. 

The Gold Star is a motorcycle made by BSA from 1938–1963. They were 350 cc and 500 cc single-cylinder four-stroke production motorcycle known for being amongst the fastest bikes of the 1950s. Being hand built and with many optional performance modifications available, each motorcycle came from the factory with documented dynamometer test results, allowing the new owner to see the horsepower produced.

You can find this riding up to the events at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI  from May 17th-19th for the Spring Vintage Week, from May 31st-June 2nd for the Subway Super bike AMA Races, and June 7th-9th for the Vintage Motorcycle Classics. You will also see our Billboards around the Milwaukee area now through September 8, 2013.

09' Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom

This 09' Sportster 1200 Custom was picked up from one of clients that we are shipping down to Columbus, GA at Chattahoochee Harley Davidson.

Chattahoochee Harley-Davidson was established and incorporated in November 2000. The business was originally located at 211 Buena Vista Road and moved to Fortson Road.  They are now located at 3230 Williams Road in Columbus, GA. They have a second location, Big Swamp Harley-Davidson®, which was opened in 2005 and is located at 1201 Fox Run Pkwy Opelika, Alabama.The Big Swamp location is conveniently located near Auburn and Montgomery, AL.  Both stores are proudly owned by John & Marlies Cunningham.

 They offer a wide range of products and services to their customers with the goal to enhance their enjoyment of motor sports. They don't sell vehicles, parts and services. They encourage a lifestyle!

Ask Amy: International Shipping

Customer: I have a 95' Heritage Classic what do I need to ship my bike from the Chicago to Germany?
Amy: Well first you could drop your bike off or we could pick it up for an extra charge and we would put your Bike in one of our International crates. The gas would have to be drained and the battery disconnected or we can do this for you if you drop it off.
Customer: As far as documentation what would I need?
Amy: You would need the original title, fill out a Shippers Letter of Instruction, and a Letter of Intent to Ship which will be sent to you when you are shipping your bike. If you are a US citizen you will also have to apply for an EIN Number if you don't have one already. Then go to "Resources" and Select "Obtain an EIN" or "Obtain an EIN for third Parties" If you are not a US citizen you would just use your Passport Number. Make sure you make a copy of the original title for yourself. Once customs verifies your VIN on the bike and the title they will send back the original to us and we will send it to you. All of this we can walk you through
Customer: What about any customs charges in the US?
Amy: Customs Charges include; Destination terminal fee, customs clearance fee, handling charge, and title and US customs fee. These are all included in our quote. We also have a customs agent that handles and verifies all documents with US Customs.
Customer: Where would I pick up my bike in Germany?
Amy: Depending on your route you could pick it up from the port or at one of our friendly secure facilties
Customer: What about customs chargers on the other side?
Amy: This also depends on which route you are going. If you pick your bike up from the port you can pay the charges there. Otherwise we will include it into the quote.

Customer: Do you Ship Sports Bikes?
Amy: Yes we do. We have custom crates for shipping all types of Sport Bikes. The crate has a custom raised wheel chocks so when we are strapping down your bike your frame has enough clearance from the bottom of the crate. We also have a custom rear placement to fit the bikes with wider rear tires.

Ask Amy? How to ship my bike Domestically?

Customer: Amy what do I need to ship my bike.
Amy: I need to know what Make, Model, Year your Bike is.
Amy: Where you are moving your Bike from.
Customer: Harley Davidson Heritage Soft tail 03'
Customer: I'm looking to move my bike from Chicago, IL to Denver, Colorado
Amy: You can drop off your bike at our facility or we can pick your bike up for an extra fee...We will then crate the bike and have it sent out to our facility in Denver and it will be un crated there for you to pick it up.
Customer: How many days transit to Denver?
Amy: From the time you drop your bike off 3-4 Days. Never Longer than 5 Days Transit anywhere in the US.
Customer: Wow. What do I need to do to prepare my bike for shipment?
Amy: All we ask is you drain your Gas down to a 1/2 of a tank. If you ride your bike in we can do it for you.

We will then run rates through our domestic Department and get you your quote with in 24 hours.
